About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our team at Change Grow Live. As a Senior Practitioner, you will play a key role in promoting smoking cessation services and leading a specialist team to provide brief advice and structured programmes to individuals across Lancashire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote smoking cessation services and engage with the wider community to increase understanding of the impacts of smoking on health and wellbeing.
  • Lead a specialist team providing brief advice and structured programmes to a wide population of individuals across Lancashire.
  • Support the Service Manager to ensure service targets are achieved and provide line management, supervision, and appraisals to Specialists.
  • Engage with the wider community to increase understanding of the impacts of smoking on health and wellbeing and encourage appropriate referrals.

About You

  • You will have in-depth knowledge and understanding of the treatments and interventions available to smokers and experience of providing line management, supervision, and appraisals to staff or volunteers.
  • You will be able to work as part of a team, respond flexibly to the demands of the post, and communicate confidently and effectively, verbally and in writing.
