Job Description

This role will be instrumental in developing our production planning department. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient manufacturing operations. Key responsibilities include checking and reviewing engineering data, attending production reviews, monitoring progress, and identifying issues.

You will also process and maintain data within our manufacturing system, create bill of materials, prepare project budgets, and plan manufacturing activities. Additionally, you will operate resource/capacity planning activities to manage the manufacturing environment for best efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experienced in MRP/ERP systems with the ability to learn and use EDM's Manufacturing system, Syspro.
  • Commercially and financially astute with experience of working to budgets and financial targets.
  • Ability to achieve UK security clearance essential.
