Staff Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our CAMHS Inpatient Service team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to young people with acute mental health problems.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the provision of a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week in-patient based service across an acute care pathway.
- Assess care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate programmes of care in conjunction with patients, carers, and other professionals.
- Develop and implement care plans to ensure individual needs are met, and carry out all relevant forms of care.
- Take charge of a ward in the absence of a charge nurse.
We offer a comprehensive preceptorship programme for newly qualified nurses, as well as opportunities for professional development and training. You will also have access to our local CAMHS Induction and wider Trust Induction programmes.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to apply for the Children's and Young Persons Mental Health Inpatient Training Programme with the University of Reading, which is an innovative 10-day research-informed training programme.
