Veterinary Care Manager Role

GLG Vets seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Veterinary Care Manager to lead our Ashford team. As a Veterinary Care Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, optimizing clinic workflows, and contributing to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective patient care plans, leveraging your expertise to drive positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to optimize clinic workflows, enhance the patient experience, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage and maintain accurate medical records for each patient, adhering to confidentiality protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and deliver educational programs for veterinary nurses and support staff, enhancing their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Veterinary degree (MRCVS or equivalent), with a strong foundation in veterinary science and clinical practice.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities within a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in both routine and emergency veterinary care, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development, staying current with industry advancements and best practices.

Salary: £70,000 - £95,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
