Sustainable Logistics Specialist Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Sustainable Logistics Specialist to lead our Electric Vehicle Deployment project at Kuehne+Nagel. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our company's commitment to reducing its environmental impact and promoting sustainable practices within the logistics industry.

Job Summary:

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and sustainability, with experience in managing projects related to electric vehicles and green fleet operations.
  • You will work closely with our internal teams, external suppliers, and stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive plan for eHGV and charging site deployment.
  • Your responsibilities will include overseeing all aspects of project delivery, from setup to maintenance, and ensuring that the project aligns with Kuehne+Nagel's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for eHGV and charging site deployment, taking into account technical, logistical, and operational considerations.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams, external suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  3. Evaluate and optimize trial performance, identifying and addressing any risks to the project.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in transport and project management.
  • Extensive knowledge and passion to reduce Co2 levels in the transport industry.
  • Experience in managing projects to ensure they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies including Agile, Prince2, and/or APM.

Salary Estimate: $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
