We are seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join our team at our Sheffield depot. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults, as well as carrying out vehicle servicing.

About the Role

  • Diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used.
  • Carry out vehicle servicing, including the overhaul and repair of vehicle electrical systems.
  • Be fully conversant with diagnostic equipment, including multi-meters, temperature gauges, and E.C.U. diagnostic computer equipment.

Requirements

  • You must possess a minimum level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent qualification.
  • You must be fully conversant with the safe operation of workshop equipment and the overhaul and repair of vehicle electrical systems.
  • You must be in the possession of, or capable of obtaining, a full PCV licence and forklift truck licence if required.
