Role Overview:
As a skilled Welder at EMCOR UK, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient delivery of projects across the Wissington site. Your primary responsibility will be to fabricate and fit metal components to assemble structural forms, including frames, pipe supports, pipework, and pressure vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Weld metal components to high specifications on sheet metal, tubing, plate, and structural steelwork.
- Install or repair equipment such as pipes, valves, and process equipment.
- Fabricate welded metal fabrications to customer design and specifications.
- Comply with site rules and company standards.
- Understand and comply with hot work controls.
- Perform other tasks as needed and requested by your Line Manager.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques.
- Competent in various welding processes, flame cutting, plasma cutting, angle grinding, and polishing.
- Qualified to EN287-1 for working on pressure systems.
- Ability to work well within a team.
