Job Summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Liaison for Addiction Services to join their Inverclyde Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service. As a key member of the Addiction Liaison Outreach Team, you will work closely with individuals with complex alcohol and drug problems, providing assertive outreach, harm reduction interventions, and support to promote engagement in treatment.

The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with level 1 NMC registration, possessing at least 2 years of addiction experience or 2 years of community experience at band 5. A degree-level education or equivalent is also required.

This is a fixed-term position of 2 years 8 months, with a shift pattern to be confirmed. The successful candidate will be a key link between Acute Hospitals, Liaison Psychiatry, Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services, and wider care providers.
