Financial Planning Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Specialist to join our team at Ingredion Incorporated (Corporate). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and providing financial information, planning, performance analysis, and insight to support decision-making processes within the Global Key Accounts organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial reviews of monthly performance for Global Key Accounts, Globally supported accounts, and Regional Key Accounts, explaining the main drivers behind variances.
  • Provide support for price and contract negotiations, including developing and updating price mechanisms considering the latest costing information and outlooks.
  • Support the Global Key Accounts team with performing profit analyses, contract reviews, rebate analyses, modeling payment term extensions, and other ad-hoc analysis.
  • Deliver insightful Global Key Accounts analysis and reporting and drive actions for Gross Profit forecasting and Gross margin improvement.
  • Develop collaborative and influential relationships with key leaders within Global Key Accounts.
  • Understand and build partnerships with key contacts across various groups: Corp. Finance and Accounting, Regional Finance and Operations, and Go-to-Market teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Controlling, Accounting, or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of balance sheet, income sheet, cash flow, and working capital analysis.
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Sound business acumen, especially in commercial processes and customer interaction.
  • Must be able to analyze financial results and assess financial/strategic impacts of business decisions.
  • Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • English fluency, both written and spoken.
