Job Title: AWS System Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced AWS System Architect to join our team at Raytheon UK. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex systems architecture for our clients. About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in systems development and a keen interest in weapon systems. You will work closely with our engineering specialists to define safety and security architectures, validate architecture models, and conduct architecture reviews. Your expertise in mainstream Architecture Frameworks and Model-Based Systems Engineering methodologies will be essential in driving the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement complex systems architecture for our clients.
  • Work with engineering specialists to define safety and security architectures.
  • Validate architecture models and conduct architecture reviews.
  • Develop and maintain system requirements by working with other systems engineers and subject matter experts.
  • Support the maturation of our architecture business capability by defining improved processes, methodologies, and work instructions.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in systems development across the development lifecycle.
  • Experience in defining system architecture for complex systems.
  • Ability to deploy mainstream Architecture Frameworks and Model-Based Systems Engineering methodologies.
  • Keen analytical approach to solving complex problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to convey complex ideas and engage stakeholders.
  • Experience in the management of requirements.
  • Eligible or holder of current SC security clearance.
