Financial Analyst

Are you a talented individual with a strong finance background looking to progress your career within a global household name? Our client, a leading manufacturing organisation, is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their Finance Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support for all CAPEX & Fixed Asset related activities, including financial validation, AUC balance management, and accurate Fixed Asset Register.
• Drive cost improvements by challenging assumptions and actively participating in cost-saving improvement projects.
• Analyse factory costs and provide visibility and forecasts through accurate reporting and dynamic forecasting processes.
• Contribute to the month-end process, including journals, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Identify and promote cost reduction initiatives to the Financial Controller and management team.
• Lead business planning activities by developing forecasts, revisions, and simulations.
• Identify cost improvement opportunities through financial insight and benchmarking.
• Support the Financial Controller in implementing best practices for internal controls.

Requirements:

• Proven Finance background with a strong desire to learn and develop.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and innovative thinking that will enable you to find creative solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence in influencing stakeholders at all levels and building positive relationships.
