We are seeking a skilled Slitter/Rewinder Operator to join our dynamic team at Taylor Higson. As a key player in our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining slitting and rewinding machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate slitter/rewinder machinery to cut and rewind rolls of label material.
  • Monitor production quality, making adjustments as necessary to meet specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment to maintain optimal performance.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets.
  • Adhere to safety and quality control procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a slitter/rewinder operator or in a similar manufacturing role.
  • Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to quality and sustainability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Salary and Benefits:

Competitive hourly wage of £12-£14, depending on experience.
