The Role

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join its multidisciplinary team. As a rotational occupational therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in various acute and community settings, including surgical, care of the elderly, medical, and more.

The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, knowledge, and experience, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating interventions to support patients in hospital and community settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a defined caseload using evidence-based practice and client-centered principles
  • Develop clinical skills, knowledge, and experience without direct supervision
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care

Requirements

  • Registered Occupational Therapist with valid HCPC registration
  • Knowledge of application of the theory underpinning OT practice
  • Excellent team working skills and ability to work using own initiative
