Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician Lead

Role DescriptionYour primary responsibility will be to maintain the reliability and safety of our HGV fleet. This involves performing routine vehicle inspections, maintenance, fault finding, and repairs. You will also work on repairing and maintaining Veolia's fleet, third-party vehicles, and plant in accordance with industry standards.
Responsibilities- Conduct daily service, MOT preparation, and repairs on HGVs
- Inspect and test HGVs to ensure they meet regulatory requirements
- Fault find and repair issues with HGVs
- Overhaul and maintain Veolia's fleet, third-party vehicles, and plant
- Experience as a Mechanical Fitter/Technician with an NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification
- Holding a valid HGV driving license
- Up to £20 per hour, plus benefits and bonuses
- 25 days' annual leave plus statutory bank holidays

This role offers an estimated salary of around £42,000 - £52,000 per annum, depending on experience. With a valid HGV driving license, you can earn an additional £5,200 per year. Our team is dedicated to providing excellent support and opportunities for career growth.
