Test Technician

Morson Talent is recruiting on behalf of BAE Systems for a Technician role in a dynamic testing environment. The successful candidate will work within a team to conduct test and evaluation trials, interfacing with internal and external customers. Key responsibilities include ensuring trials are conducted in a safe manner, complying with SHE legislation, and maintaining technical competency. Training will be provided for testing and computer systems aspects of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Functioning within a team to conduct test and evaluation trials
- Interface with both internal and external customers
- Compliance with pre-trials risk assessments to ensure trials are conducted in a safe manner
- Compliance and adherence to SHE legislation
- Responsible for recording of test data and following the relevant test plans
- Assisting with continuous improvement and performance measurement activities
- Responsible for maintaining technical competency
- Responsible for assisting in the delivery of trials within timescale and budget
What We Offer:
Competitive rates inclusive of 23% uplift, £23.83 per hour PAYE plus £3.46 holiday pay, or £30.16 per hour Umbrella. A 12-month contract initially, with the possibility of long-term extension. Shifts include days and rotational shifts.
