Nurse Practitioner

Are you a skilled and experienced nurse looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a remote and rural setting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working autonomously with support from GP visits and peer support from the wider Isles Network of Care. You will be the lead practitioner in providing emergency care on the island, working closely with the community to ensure the best possible outcomes.
We are looking for a nurse who is confident, flexible, and resourceful, with the ability to work without a hospital or GP at hand. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and reviewing the healthcare needs of patients and families, as well as monitoring and audit, treatment room, and community nursing activities.
As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to work in a unique and rewarding environment, providing personalized care to the population and primary care with continuity. You will be part of a mutually supportive team, working together to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Orkney offers a wonderful quality of life, with unique wildlife, amazing scenery, and a wide range of cultural and sporting activities. We welcome applications from people interested in residing or commuting to work on the islands.
For more information about living and working on the islands, please visit our website. We look forward to hearing from you
