Loss Adjuster

About the Role:

We are excited to partner with a thriving and well-established claims business to find a Claims Adjuster for their specialist MGA organization.

This role offers a salary of up to £25,000 per annum and the flexibility to work in the office, from home, or on a hybrid basis. Please note, this would be 3 days in the office, and 2 days at home per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate, investigate, and negotiate customer claims with confidence
• Manage and prioritize your caseload with strong organizational skills
• Work towards monthly targets at both team and individual levels
• Apply commercial acumen in assessing claims, balancing economic considerations with the business's best interests
• Use strong negotiation skills to challenge decisions where appropriate
• Make quick and accurate decisions on liability, quantum, and indemnity
• Identify and handle potentially spurious claims
• Understand industry procedures, products, and services
• Liaise effectively with blue-chip organizations

Requirements:

• Comfortable with claims validation, investigation, and negotiation
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to work to monthly targets, both individually and as part of a team
• Commercially astute with a focus on the business's best interests
• Strong negotiation skills and confidence in challenging decisions
• Quick decision-making abilities regarding liability, quantum, and indemnity
• Keen eye for identifying potentially fraudulent claims
• Solid understanding of industry procedures, products, and services
• Ability to liaise effectively with blue-chip organizations
