Job Description

This is a Nationwide, home-based role requiring travel around 6-8 times a year between Head offices, training hubs, and external providers. The ideal candidate should have current Assessor experience looking for a step up.

About the Position

As the Assessor / Internal Quality Assurer for Latcom plc's NVQ provision, you will ensure that assessment and instruction meet high standards. This involves managing your own caseload of internal verifications, coordinating others, overseeing sampling plans, conducting observations and quality checks on assessments and teaching, and compliance and quality assurance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage internal verifications, coordinate others, oversee sampling plans.
  • Conduct observations and quality checks on assessments and teaching.
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted, ESFA funding, and Awarding Body standards.
  • Coordinate with external educational organisations and regulators.

Requirements

  • Proven Assessor experience with relevant higher education qualification in the construction industry.
  • Experience working for a commercial Independent Training Provider and external educational organisations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate, communicate, and influence effectively.
  • KPI compliance, report preparation, and data manipulation.

Compensation

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum, plus up to £7,500 Regional Allowance depending on location, and bonus.
