Year 6 Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 6 teacher to join our vibrant and fun primary school in Reading. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our students, promoting academic excellence and personal growth.

About the Role:

  • Teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children, focusing on individual learning targets and promoting teamwork.
  • Provide pastoral care to students, encouraging their strengths and improving their weaknesses.
  • Monitor student progress and report back to parents as necessary.

  • Our school is a two-form entry school located in a lovely residential area of Reading.
  • We offer a friendly environment that welcomes early career teachers (ECTs) with open arms.
  • We strive to develop well-rounded, confident pupils through our supportive pastoral environment.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications (Experienced teachers as well as ECTs are welcome to apply).
  • Ability to commute to Reading via public transport.
  • Experience teaching UKS2.
  • Confidence to lead a class and manage behaviour in line with school behaviour policies.
