The Portfolio Group is seeking an experienced Credit Control Manager to lead our team in Manchester. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient cash collection and service excellence for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of seven credit control professionals, ensuring they meet targets and deliver outstanding levels of service.
- Cash Collection: Develop and implement strategies to maximize cash collection, including direct debit initiatives.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including cash collection, debtor days, and collection efficiencies.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs within the team and develop coaching schedules to ensure continuous improvement.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and resolving any queries or issues.
- Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve credit control processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of four years' experience in credit control, collections, and customer service.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
