Job Responsibilities:

As a Class 1 Driver, your typical day will involve:

  • Delivering palletised goods to customer locations across the UK
  • Loading and unloading via curtains or loading bay (occasionally using a pump truck)
  • Ensuring safe and legal vehicle operation, verifying correct loading before departure
  • Reporting delivery or vehicle/trailer issues to the transport office
Requirements:

To succeed at GXO, you'll need:

  • A full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
  • A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
  • A valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than 6 current penalty points
  • No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC, or TT99 endorsements within the last 5 years
