About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Tax Director to join our specialist Indirect Tax Transformation team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality SAP projects and advice to our clients, leveraging your expertise and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of tax SAP projects, ensuring technical excellence and a practical, business-driven approach.
  • Build and maintain tax relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Contribute to winning new work by supporting the business development and sales process, working closely with VAT/Tax client relationship owners.
  • Oversee the successful delivery of tax SAP projects, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and coach team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Requirements
  • At least 7 years of experience in Tax transformation and SAP, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects.
  • Experience of 3+ major SAP implementation projects in a client-facing role, with a focus on VAT/GST or Sales & Use Tax.
  • Strong knowledge of tax technology solutions, including tax engines, digital tax authority solutions, data analytics, and compliance tools.
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience working in complex transformation/SAP programmes.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with other service lines/teams/alliance partners.
  • Experience working with planning, consolidation, and financial reporting processes.
  • SAP tools like SAC, PaPM, DRC, Group Reporting, GTS are highly desirable.
