At Floryn House Care Home, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with their daily routines, including personal care, medication, and meal times.
- Support residents with their health and wellbeing, including monitoring their condition and reporting any concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager.
- Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident, ensuring they feel valued and cared for in every interaction.
- Encourage social interactions among residents and with staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
- Work with housekeepers to maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces.
About You:
- Qualifications: SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred.
- Experience: Ideally, you have at least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant, but we welcome those with a passion for care and transferable skills.
- Passion: You're genuinely interested in caring for the elderly and committed to delivering excellent service.
- Values: You bring integrity, respect, and a strong sense of teamwork to everything you do.
