Key Responsibilities:

* Work 1:1 and in small groups to support children with social, emotional difficulties and learning needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum and engage with the learning environment.

* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons, adapting the curriculum to meet the specific needs of individual children.

* Help develop and deliver personalized learning programmes to ensure each child makes progress at their own pace.

* Support the emotional well-being of the children, providing a nurturing and structured environment that fosters confidence and positive relationships.

* Contribute to classroom planning, preparation, and activities, ensuring that all children feel included and supported in their learning.

* Collaborate with the SENCO and other staff to assess, monitor, and report on children's progress, offering input on any additional support that may be needed.

* Help manage behavior and support children with self-regulation and emotional awareness.

Requirements:

* Experience working with young children in an Early Years or primary setting, particularly those with social, emotional, and learning needs.

* Ability to assist in planning and delivering individualized learning plans, helping children meet their specific targets.
