Join Our Team: As a Key Worker at Safe Places for Children UK, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about providing high-quality care to vulnerable young people.
Our Approach: We use a trauma-informed approach to support young people, recognising that their behaviours are often a coping mechanism. Our staff are trained to respond to these behaviours in a way that models calm, hopeful, caring, consistent, respectful, and understanding behaviour.
Your Role: As a Key Worker, you will play a vital role in implementing our approach, working collaboratively with colleagues to create a safe and supportive environment that promotes positive relationships and encourages young people to take ownership of their lives.
What You'll Need: To be successful in this role, you will need a strong understanding of child development, trauma, and attachment theory, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A UK driving licence and ability to undergo Northern Ireland Social Care Council Registration are also essential.
