Job Purpose:To carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive works to building plant, equipment and systems in accordance with agreed service levels, undertake small installation works and respond to site engineering emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure routine maintenance is carried out to all electrical / Mechanical systems to meet and exceed expectations, and agreed service level agreements.
- Carry out reactive repairs on all systems as required, calling relevant sub-contractors as needed.
- Liaise with sub-contractors as required for repairs / quotations, monitoring performance of sub-contractor personnel, ensuring works have been undertaken correctly and work area has been left in a satisfactory condition.
- Sign off completed PPM and reactive tasks via your PDA in line with KPMG policies and procedures in a timely manner.
- Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements, as required.
- Be involved in call out rota if applicable.
- Liaise and work with other trade engineers to ensure electrical issues on all systems are attended to and resolved within SLA agreements.
- A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English and basic mathematical skills.
- Recognized Electrical Qualification.
- C&G 17th Edition in Electrical Installations.
- C&G Test and Inspection.
- Good knowledge of various Building electrical systems and working to Planned Preventative Maintenance Regimes.
- Current knowledge of BS in relation to electrical systems on site (Emerg lighting/Fire alarm/power/BMS etc.).
- Experience of electrical systems management and paperwork.
- Must be reliable and able to work without supervision.
- Able to work within a call out rota.
- Able to work shifts within the contract set up.
- Available for weekend and out of hours working as required.
