About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our Capital, Estates and Facilities Management (CEFM) team at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Trust.

As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe management of our facilities and services, and will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters to our staff and stakeholders.

You will have a strong background in health and safety, with a proven track record of delivering effective safety management systems and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide guidance on risk management
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on health and safety matters
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure a safe and healthy working environment
