We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Physician to join our team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. As a Rheumatology/General Internal Medicine Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and support junior/middle-grade medical staff in the delivery of patient care.
- Develop and implement robust care plans to ensure patients receive the best possible outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with primary and community care services to identify and address the needs of frail, older patients.
- Contribute to the development of specialist multi-disciplinary meetings to ensure effective patient care.
- Full registration with the GMC.
- Relevant CCT or entry on the specialist register expected within 6 months.
- MRCP.
- 4-5 years training at St3+ level in GIM and Rheumatology.
- Wide training in all relevant aspects of medicine.
- Interest and significant experience in Rheumatology.
