Product Owner - Connected Car Services

We are seeking a skilled Product Owner to join our team at Apex Recruitment Services. As a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in integrating, testing, and deploying Connected Services within vehicle model programmes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the introduction of new connected services for future vehicle projects, specifically within the Swarm, Navigation, and Infotainment categories.
  2. Oversee the integration, deployment, and initial testing of existing Swarm, Navigation, and Infotainment services during the development cycle of future ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) Model Year vehicle projects using the MLB-EVO electrical/electronic architecture.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure connected services meet quality, performance, and regulatory standards.
  4. Lead the end-to-end management of the connected services portfolio within your category, ensuring the smooth transition of services across vehicle projects.
Additional Activities:
  1. Assist with managing the service deployment process and ensure adherence to testing and integration protocols.
  2. Respond to and resolve field issues and customer complaints regarding connected services post-deployment.
  3. Act as a key point of contact within the Connected Car department for the Swarm, Navigation, and Infotainment service categories.
Requirements:

Essential:

  1. Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office.
  2. Strong planning, prioritisation, and communication skills (both verbal and written).

Desirable:

  1. Automotive experience, particularly in connected services.
  2. Familiarity with automotive testing methods, processes, and diagnostic tools.
  3. Experience with automotive electrical systems and back-end systems.
  4. Knowledge of specialist engineering facilities and equipment.

Working Requirements:

  1. Availability: 5 days per week, 37 hours per week. Core hours Monday-Thursday 8:00-4:00pm, Friday 8:00-2:30pm.
  2. Hybrid working pattern: 3 days per week on-site.
