Senior Finance Manager – Group Reporting

Born from the combination of Virtual1 and TalkTalk's wholesale services and national network business, we employ over 1,100 people across our three core sites in Salford, London, and North Macedonia. The role of Senior Finance Manager is part of a specialist finance team, responsible for engaging with key stakeholders in finance and the business. You will be one of the key points of contact with the external audit team. Group Reporting works closely with the Core Accounting team to support and aid development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation of interim and annual reports, as well as subsidiary statutory accounts.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of the external audit and develop a strong relationship with the audit team.
  • Provide technical accounting advice to the Group's businesses, including new products, contracts, offers, or corporate transactions.
  • Prepare technical accounting papers to explain accounting judgments to key stakeholders.
  • Advise on changes in accounting standards and their impact on the business.
  • Drive improvement in the Group's controls and financial reporting processes.

Requirements:

  • Progressive finance experience, including strong technical accounting experience (practice background and IFRS experience advantageous).
