Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Part-Time Project Manager to join our web development team at MCM. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of web development projects. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate closely with our talented web development team, clients, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop project plans and timelines in collaboration with clients and the web development team.
  • Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure project goals are met.
  • Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and provide regular project updates.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues and develop mitigation plans.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenses.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in web development, ideally within an agency environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Main Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Collaborate with clients and the web development team to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables. Develop project plans and timelines.
  • Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure project goals are met. Coordinate with developers and designers to optimise project workflows.
  • Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients. Provide regular project updates, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues and develop mitigation plans. Proactively address challenges to keep projects on track.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenses. Ensure that projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including statement of works, project plans, status reports, and client communications.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and positive working environment within the web development team. Encourage knowledge sharing and best practices.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Project Management, Business Administration, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in web development, ideally within an agency environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Knowledge of web development processes and technologies is a plus.
  • Project management certification is a plus.
