We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team within Cloud. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the delivery of cloud services across the organisation, providing best practice information and support to help teams adopt our cloud platform.

The primary objectives of this role are to ensure that our cloud infrastructure accommodates the latest security and software lifecycle patterns, and to partner with product owners and management to manage and articulate demand planning and delivery against the projected backlog and book of work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all architecture and cloud infrastructure meets the latest security and software lifecycle patterns.
  • Partner with product owners and management to manage and clearly articulate demand planning and delivery against the projected backlog and book of work.
  • Contribute to the delivery of cloud services across the organisation, providing best practice information and support to help teams adopt our cloud platform.
Requirements
  • Understanding of either Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure and Cloud Native Architectures is essential.
  • Knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows and/or Linux) is desirable.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and the ability to write software scripts in at least one general-purpose programming language (Python, Go, Java).
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with teams across the organisation.
