Freight Forwarder

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freight Forwarder to join our team at Morrison Freight Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of freight forwarding, from planning and organizing Full Truck Loads (FTLs) between Europe and the UK to ensuring our services are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively.

• Plan and organize FTLs between Europe and the UK
• Enhance productivity while maintaining our high standards and minimizing costs
• Negotiate rates with customers and transportation costs with suppliers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
• Monitor transport rates, market trends, and oversee jobs from inception to completion
• Manage sub-contracting haulage requirements, transportation bookings, and quotations

We are looking for a candidate with over 3 years of experience in European road freight forwarding. Your familiarity with the industry, coupled with your technical expertise, will ensure success in this role. Knowledge of European road freight rates, customers, and suppliers is essential. While proficiency in German or Dutch is advantageous, it is not a requirement. Your professional demeanor, coupled with a proactive approach, will be crucial to thriving at Morrison Freight.
