We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Specialist to join our team at Escape in Glasgow. With a competitive salary of £65,000 per annum, this role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge systems and technology.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the development, operation, safety, and availability of electrical and controls systems and equipment. This involves:

  • Driving continuous improvements to achieve excellence in performance and productivity.
  • Monitoring reliability metrics and goals to drive performance improvements.
  • Troubleshooting, fault finding, updating, and programming of control systems (PLC/HMI).
  • Providing technical support to others regarding Automation, PLC, and HMI.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum HND in Electrical, Controls, or Automation Engineering.
  • Past experience in FMCG/manufacturing is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience working with Siemens PLC controls.
