About the Role

A leading college in Northamptonshire is seeking a skilled construction lecturer to join their team.

Compensation Package:

  • The annual salary for this position ranges from £33,487 to £39,341.
  • A £6k Levelling Up fund will be awarded to candidates transitioning from industry.

As a qualified construction lecturer, you will deliver engaging instruction, manage courses, and contribute to curriculum development while maintaining high standards through internal verification and auditing.

Main Responsibilities and Expectations
  1. You will provide effective teaching and learning experiences across brickwork or multi-skills, fostering learner success.
  2. Your expertise in curriculum development will help shape industry-relevant programs.
  3. Internal quality assurance and verification processes will ensure excellence in education.
  4. Staying current with sector trends and best practices will be essential.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a Construction trade (brickwork or multi-skills) is mandatory.
  • Substantial industry experience is required.
  • A fully supported teaching qualification and £6k Levelling Up fund for those transitioning from industry will be advantageous.
  • A GCSE grade C or equivalent in English & Maths is necessary.
  • A long-term commitment to Continuing Professional Development is expected.
