Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at The Thornhill. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting our Head Chef in the preparation and presentation of our menu offerings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head Chef in the preparation and presentation of menu items
  • Manage food ordering and inventory levels
  • Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness
  • Train and develop junior staff members
  • Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef Assistant
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
