Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior 3D Furniture Designer to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for technical design and development of client inquiries, collaborating with project managers and clients to achieve optimal design outcomes.

Key responsibilities include generating clear and accurate approval and production drawings, working closely with operations managers and shop floor joiners to address questions and problem-solve throughout the production process, and adhering to timescales and meeting deadlines.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the bespoke joinery sector using SolidWorks
  • Understanding of joinery manufacturing methods, materials, and finishes
  • Proven ability to generate accurate, detailed production drawings/technical drawings
  • Well-organized with the ability to manage fast turnarounds from initial concept to design solution and manufacture
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem solver with a positive attitude in the face of challenges
