Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Supervising Social Worker to join our Ofsted rated Outstanding South West Team. The successful candidate will work with a therapeutic and trauma-informed approach, supporting foster families to meet the complex needs of looked-after young people.

Key Responsibilities

* Supporting and supervising foster families to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective therapeutic approaches
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including the Children's Act and NMS Fostering Standards

* Proven experience in supporting and supervising foster families, and promoting positive development in looked-after children
* Strong IT skills and ability to use electronic records systems effectively
