Job Title: Project Engineer

EnerSys Delaware Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading customer or internal projects, providing technical assessment, analysis, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead project design solutions under guidance from Senior/Principal engineers
  • Perform analysis of electrical, thermal, and mechanical performance of batteries
  • Specify battery components, such as heaters
  • Work with CAD Manager to generate drawings
  • Support in-build technical checks and testing at external sites
  • Verify project hardware from test data and correlate to predicted performance
  • Produce project documentation, including analysis reports and test plans
  • Communicate technical matters to customers and support proposals
Requirements:
  • STEM degree or equivalent qualification
  • Experience as an engineer in a customer-facing role
  • Good IT skills for data analysis and results presentation
  • Experience with test and verification activities
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience working with space industry primes, agencies, and end users
  • Knowledge of ECSS standards
