We are seeking a dedicated and experienced KS1 Teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. The successful candidate will have Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) and experience in supporting children with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Job Overview

The role involves building relationships with children, planning and delivering engaging lessons, and working collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and other professionals. A calm and nurturing approach is essential for ensuring children's happiness and positive attitude towards learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with children to enhance their engagement with the curriculum and promote their learning.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the needs of all pupils.
  • Support children and families during transitions to Primary School.
  • Work effectively with teaching assistants, parents, and other professionals to foster pupil development.
  • Ensure the safeguarding of all pupils by adopting school policies and participating in regular training.
  • Assess children's progress and record feedback to parents and SLT.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS).
  • Understanding of child development.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate.
  • Experience supporting children with SEMH needs.
Estimated Salary

£25,000 - £35,000 per annum based on location and experience.
