Job Title: Vehicle Damage Assessor

Job Summary:

The Solution Automotive Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team. As a key member of our motor claims team, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating vehicle damage, negotiating settlements, and ensuring the smooth processing of claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to assess damage and estimate repair costs
  • Negotiate settlements with customers and repairers to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Work closely with repairers, business partners, and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient claim resolution
  • Conduct audits to assess repairer performance and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure all work is carried out within agreed KPIs and SLAs and in accordance with company values

Requirements:

  • Member of a recognized automotive industry association (IAEA, IMI, IRTE, ATA, or VDA)
  • 2 years of motor claims experience, including a basic understanding of insurance principles
  • Good working knowledge of computerized damage estimating systems, including Audatex
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Positive and self-confident approach when dealing with customers
  • PC literate with good administrative skills
  • Ability to take on increased ownership and responsibility when necessary
