Paediatric Nurse Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Nurse Manager to join our team at Leaders in Care. As a Paediatric Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to children and their families, while creating personalized care plans that meet their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver tailored care plans that address the physical and physiological needs of individual clients.
  • Effectively manage the multidisciplinary team through strong communication and teamwork.
  • Provide ongoing monitoring, support, and assessment of clients' needs within your caseload.
  • Deliver nursing interventions, including the management of medicine delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients' families.
  • Work closely with community teams, CHC nurses, and CCG commissioners to establish and maintain bespoke packages of care.
Requirements:
  • RSCN with a minimum of 6 months' experience in the UK and an active NMC PIN.
  • Supportive management style that brings out the best in others.
  • Up-to-date experience of tracheostomy care and ventilators within the last 2 years.
  • Advanced communication skills verbally and written to liaise effectively with patients, families, and the MDT.
  • Suitable for Band 5/Band 6 Nurses with evidence of effective leadership and management of HCAs.
  • Full UK Driving Licence essential.
