Mathematics Professor

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join our thriving Maths department at Wayman Learning Trust, a reputable secondary school in Sutton. This full-time permanent position offers an exceptional opportunity to inspire and empower young minds to excel in mathematics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and engaging mathematics curriculum to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the possibility of teaching at Key Stage 5 depending on experience and qualifications.

• Design and deliver stimulating maths lessons that align with the national curriculum and our educational ethos.
• Create a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement and participation.
• Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the maths department and across the school to enrich the learning experience.
• Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in mathematics education.
