Job Summary

A Mechanical Asset Management Professional is required to support our infrastructure projects in Wiltshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, repair, maintenance, and servicing of heavy plant equipment on-site and during mobile breakdowns.

About the Role
  • The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, and electrics.
  • They will work with various heavy plant equipment including Dumpers, Bucket Loaders, 360 Excavators, Rollers, Dumper Trucks, Bulldozers, Cranes, and Container Handlers.
Responsibilities
  • Inspect, repair, maintain, and service heavy plant equipment on-site and during mobile breakdowns.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Requirements
  • NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds standard (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plant Engineering.
  • Proven track record of working on heavy plant equipment inspections, breakdown repairs, services, and maintenance.
  • Good knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and electrics.

Salary and Benefits

Salary: £42,000 per annum + Overtime (OTE) = £47,000 per annum ++ Bonus. Based on location, this role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, reflecting the importance we place on our employees' skills and experience.
