Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Optical Assistant to join our team in Plymouth and surrounding areas. As an Optical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the optometrist and carrying out a full dispense visiting patients in Care Homes and patients own homes.

About the Role

This is a Monday to Friday role with no weekends required, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the optometrist in their daily tasks
  • Carrying out a full dispense visiting patients in Care Homes and patients own homes
  • Providing exceptional patient care and support

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A confident approach and empathy when dealing with elderly and vulnerable patients
  • A sympathetic ear and ability to provide reassurance
  • A full driving licence for at least 2 years and a clean driving record
