We are seeking a highly skilled Product Assurance Associate to join our MECCA Brands team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a wide range of product compliance areas, ensuring that our products meet all relevant regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaising with international and local brands to obtain and review required product information, including ingredient listings, packaging claims and other relevant documents.
  • Reviewing products to ensure they comply with all AU and NZ laws and requirements in a thorough and timely manner.
  • Obtaining evidence necessary to ensure product claims can be substantiated and products are accurately represented.
  • Identifying any required product changes required to meet laws and/or regulations and working closely with the brand and Merchandise team to ensure required changes are actioned.

This role requires a strong understanding of product compliance and regulatory requirements, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.

Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in a similar regulatory compliance or quality role, preferably in the cosmetics/pharmaceutical or FMCG industry.
  • Tertiary studies in chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or other relevant degree.
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex regulations effectively as well present research to the business and strong report writing skills.
  • Solutions oriented, with strong commercial acumen and influencing skills.
