DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer at Opus Recruitment Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in migrating our infrastructure to AWS and automating infrastructure provisioning and application deployments. This is a technical role where you will spend most of your time building, maintaining, and securing AWS-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of the cloud migration strategy, designing, implementing, and operating AWS services like EC2, ECS, RDS, VPC, and IAM.
  • Build infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform and set up CI/CD pipelines with AWS CodePipeline.
  • Utilize AWS tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Config to ensure high availability and scalability of our systems.
  • Mentor other engineers and promote best practices around security, compliance, testing, monitoring, and automation.
Requirements:
  • Experience with AWS infrastructure and services.
  • Strong Linux and scripting skills.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting.
  • Bonus: Containerization skills (Docker, ECS).
  • Bonus: Experience with cloud cost optimization.
