About the Role:
Pick Everard is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join our team in a Commercial role. As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to our clients, including cost management, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate commercial building projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project success.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and present detailed reports, including cost estimates, project schedules, and progress updates.
- Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of commercial building contracts, including JCT and NEC3.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve project delivery and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Building Surveyor in a commercial setting, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Proficiency in commercial building contracts, including JCT and NEC3.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
