Job Opportunity: Nursery Apprentice

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Nursery Apprentice. As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and skills in childcare, while working towards a nationally recognized qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to children, including washing, changing, and feeding.
  • Act as a key worker to a small group of children, recording observations and planning for their development.
  • Assist with daily routines and activities, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children to thrive.
  • Work closely with the nursery team to ensure the smooth operation of the setting.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities, including the NCFE/CACHE Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner or Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator.

Training and Development:

Showcase Training will provide you with the opportunity to gain a nationally recognized qualification in childcare, as well as support and guidance throughout your apprenticeship.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £28 per hour, increasing to National Minimum/Living Wage after 12 months of employment.
  • A 30-hour per week contract, Monday to Friday.
  • The opportunity to gain valuable experience and skills in childcare.

Requirements:

  • A passion for working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work as part of a team and adapt to changing circumstances.
