Supply Chain Planner

Job Summary:
Proclinical Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Supply Chain Planner to join our team. As a Supply Chain Planner, you will play a critical role in managing and controlling inventory of materials, working closely with various teams to ensure timely supply of materials for quality control release testing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Develop and manage warehouse inventory system and resupply requirements in line with production schedule.
- Procurement: Assist in generating part numbers and specifications for materials, request quotes from vendors, and manage purchase requisitions in the ERP system.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with Warehouse, Manufacturing, and Finance teams to ensure timely supply of materials for quality control release testing requirements.
- Inventory Control: Track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery, manage inventory and transfer of chemicals/consumables to support laboratory operations as per forecast and consumption.
- Process Improvement: Assist Finance in establishing safety stocks for single sourced components, support the facilities team in the day-to-day operation of the facility, and collaborate with multiple functions to establish alternate suppliers.
- Quality Assurance: Assist with investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and Change Controls representing Supply Chain.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience: Proven history working within Supply Chain with familiarity of ERP systems.
- Skills: Effective communication skills, strong team player, good organisational skills, and proficiency in MS Office, Word, and Excel.
